Quick Rip Rugby!

Hello again bloggers,

Today was our last session for our rip rugby. We really enjoyed the lessons and had a lot  of fun. We learnt a lot through out the term. the things we learnt were:

  • passes
  • scrums are when 6 people line up and kind of hug each other then someone throws the ball in the middle and the game keeps going.
  • line outs - when the ball goes out and 5 people from each team line up to try and catch the ball
  • no  tackling / bumping off
and much more! check out some of today's photos!

genuis hour!

hello again bloggers,

In class for inquiry we picked a a global goal to try and solve. The global goal my group picked was good health and well-being. Our idea to try and solve that problem was to get some medicine and colour it in we put all our things inside a box with a red cross on it and send it to a doctor, to give them an idea of giving out free supplies for the poor families that need medicines and things to help them. here are the things we have made in our genius our times, but we are still working on them!!

our museum trip!

kio ra bloggers,

last week on Friday and Thursday our class was very lucky to go on a trip here is my writing about the museum I hope you enjoy it!

On Thursday 14 November and Friday 15 November 2019 Williams class was very lucky to have
a very exciting opportunity.

We went on a museum trip that was very fun. We got to experience many technology such as VR headsets (Virtual reality) , stop motion animation, green screen and many more!

The part I loved the most was everything but because I can only choose one it would be going
into the volcano gallery, because there was a room where you go in it and watch the news about
a volcano eruption that happened right here in Auckland. At the end of the show there was a
little window of a volcano erupting and while the volcano was erupting the room gets dark and
the floor starts shaking. Many people in my group got scared but then we got used to it.

The part that I was mostly successful with and that I improved on was coding with the robots.
They were very fun because you can make them talk and move. I had Dot he was very hilarious
by how his voice sounded and when he moved he stopped then moved and stopped.

Something that I went wrong with was also the robots when I kept bumping into things and the
robot went all over the place. It also bumped into the other robot dash.We coded the robots on an iPad.

I really loved going the Auckland museum and I hope we go again.

have you ever been to the museum??
