day 1 summer learning journey 2018!!

Today is monday the first day of the summer learning journey! today the task was to find out your top favourite 3 facts about New Zealand (NZ) here are my top three facts about NZ :

1. The moari name of New Zealand is Aotearoa which means the long white cloud.

2. New Zealand is one of the worlds least populated countries with ove 4 million people!!.

3. New zealand was the first country let female and male citizens to vote.

    Congratulations on completing your very first Summer Learning Journey activity for 2019. I was so excited to see your activity this morning when I logged on. We have had a few students start the Summer Learning Journey already. That is incredible.

    These three facts that you have shared about Aotearoa are very interesting. I found it fascinating that Aotearoa is the least populated country in the world. I hope it stays that way as it is beautiful driving around surrounded in farm land. I also found another interesting fact on the Tourism NZ website, that we have the highest car ownership rate in the world! Which means, over half of our population own a car. Isn't that crazy?

    I have another question for you, what is your favourite thing about living in New Zealand?

    I cannot wait to see more incredible posts for you. Thank you for jumping on boar this journey with me.
