Nothing ever happens at my house !!

Good afternoon bloggers,

On Tuesday last week the task was to write a poem that is called nothing ever happens at my
house.Our poems were inspired by Lorraine Williams and I would like to share one of my poems with you, here it is :

Nothing Ever Happens

Nothing ever happens at my house.

It’s all so normal.

I’m doing the dishes

Dads mowing the lawn

Mums cooking dinner

Grandads reading the news

A monster is waiting for

Someone to come out and play

That’s three times this week

The cats purring

The dog is eating

Sam is feeling sick

B-o-r-r-r-i-n-g

Nothing ever happens at my house

Today I would like to share with you some of my learning today since I haven't done any blogging for a very long time and today i am going to share my reading task my reading task is a word map a word map is where you get a word about a topic and write the meaning and lots more here is my word map i hope you enjoy!!

Stranger than Fiction

Today the task from the summer learning journey was to pick two very weird plants and three differences about them and three similarities the first plant I have chosen is called Rafflesia Arnoldii and the second one is called the corpse flower this is how they look like :

three differences:

1.they don't both have spots and dots

2.they have different shapes

3.they also have different colors


three similarities:

1. they both are some of the largest plants

2.they are both flowers

3.they also both eat!

It has been a long time so far that I have not done any summer learning journey tasks  so I i am going to be doing another task , so today the task was to write about some who is tough. It could be someone from TV or someone in your life.here is my writing about my person that I have chosen :

The person I have chosen was my mum.My mum is strong because  she always encourages me when I'm stuck,scared,shy or I say that I can't do it. she also helps me whenever I need help.

Week 2 day 2 activity 1 Weaving a Tall Tale…

today the summer learning journey task was to write if you would like to try flax weaving or not here is what I would like:

I do want to try flax weaving but when I first try and It's hard I'm going to try more until I can do It and when I'm trying something new and It's very hard I keep on doing it I want to do this because I like doing new things and doing a new experiment.

Today the activity was to read some facts that were written in the summer learning Journey website and then we had find out if they were true or not from the linked website here are the 5 facts and what I found:

1: The oldest fish is 65 years old (True)

2:Sharks are the only fish that have eyelids (True)

3:Starfish are a type of fish (False)

4:Fish communicate to each other by making low pitched sounds (True)

5:Fish usually swim together In groups called classes (False)
