the Rafflesia Arnoldii:

the corpse flower

three differences:

1.they don't both have spots and dots

2.they have different shapes

3.they also have different colors

three similarities:

1. they both are some of the largest plants

2.they are both flowers

  1. Malo e lelei Fatima,

I can tell you’ve done some research and tried to think carefully about the similarities and differences between your chosen plants. You are right, they do indeed have different shapes and colours and I guess they have markings rather than spots and dots, ka pai.

Perhaps next time you could be a bit more specific (detailed) with your similarities and differences by including facts to prove why they are similar or different. Also, are you sure both of these plants eat? Please double check this and update your post with another similarity if is not true. I will be happy to award you full points for this activity once you have done so. :)

Personally, I don't find either of the plants weird, they are however, fascinating to look at! Although they are said to smell disgusting, I'd still love to see them in person, would you?

I look forward to seeing your edited post.

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.

  2. Hi Fatima,

I heard how well you had been doing with the summer learning journey that I just had to come over and see for myself. I am so proud of all the extra hard work that you have been doing during the long summer holidays. You've really set yourself up for an amazing year as a year 6 student.

Keep working hard. You're a star!

    Miss Berry
