day5 activity 2 Living on the Edge
kiora bloggers,
Today I am doing some more summer laerning journey tasks and today the task was to imagine you are going to Tundra(a island) and in Tundra the temratue is 280C pat the years the temprature has changed and part of the task was imagine that you are going there before the temprature had changed and write a letter to your best freind or a family member here is my letter:
Dear mum,
This trip to Tundra is very hard because we had to walk for very long then we took a short break and looked at some very interesting things and we were so suprised that there was no trees after a break we carried on our journey and we discoverd new things. Even though it was hard we still liked it a bit. the trip was fun and enjoyable. I really hope we can go to different islands and discover new things.
I hopw you have enjoyed what will it be like if you went to Tundra? blog you later.

ReplyDeleteHello Fatima,
ReplyDeleteWell done on completing yet another SLJ activity, 'Living on the Edge'. I can see that you have put a lot of thought into your letter writing back to your Mum and Dad. I couldn't imagine what it would be like visiting The Tundra when the temperature is -28 degrees celcius. That means it is 28 degrees below freezing. When I was living in Taupo the temperature would get down to -3 degrees some days and I thought that was extremely cold. Rachel, who works with the SLJ was brought up in a place near The Thudra. What kind of activities do you think she would have done in the winter when it was this cold? Also, what kind of clothes do you think you would need to have packed to visit The Thundra?
I cannot wait to hear back from you.
Kindest regards,
Megan :)
