day 3 activity 1 summer learning journey

Hello bloggers,

I have been doing a couple of activity's from the summer learning journey  and today the activity was to make your own beast and describe it here is my description of my beast : hope you enjoy

My beast has really scary eyes that glow in the dark so that he can see properly and it has an enormous body that is covered with yucky feeling old fur that is dark black. My beast also has the ability to swim and it eats fish. When my beast walks he shakes the ground and if you put him on a scale he would break it and it will stop working because of how heavy it is!! It is a hybrid creature that is a mix of lion and tiger because its head is a lion head and the rest of the beast looks like a tiger but it is more wierd because it has different colours the head is brown and the hair is white!! the tiger part is stripy with grey and red.

I hope you have enjoyed. comment down below what your beast looks like. blog you later

  2. Kia Orana Fatima,

I can see that you've used lots of adjectives in your description. Sounds like like a terrifying beast indeed! Perhaps next time you could include more detail about what your beast sounds and smells like, such a beast surely has a magnificent roar..with some intense breath to go with it!

Interesting enough your lion/tiger hybrid cross actually exists in real life! They are called Ligers (cub of a tiger Mum and lion Dad) and Tigons (cub of a lion Mum and tiger Dad). If your interest is piqued, go ahead and do a little bit of research, they are regal creatures.

I love the movie Fantastic Beasts, have you seen it? One of my favourite creatures from the film was Newt's Bowtruckle, I thought its tiny green twig like body, leafy head and little brown eyes were really cute! If you've seen it let me know which creature was your favourite.

    Keep up the good work.

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i.

    Cia.
