Today I will be sharing with you my poem that is titled Just Because. We wrote the poems yesterday and we edited the using read&write tools. We wrote the poems to try and break stereotypes. If you would like to see my poems there right here waiting for you to read them!

Just because I am a girl

Doesn't mean I have to love pink.

Doesn't mean I have to wear a dress

Doesn’t mean I have to have long hair.
I am unique.

Just because I wear a scarf
Doesn’t mean I look ugly

Doesn’t mean I am lonely

Doesn’t mean I am bad

I am an amazing girl

Just because I am a year 6

Doesn’t mean I am the smartest.

Doesn’t mean I know everything.

Doesn’t mean I am the fastest runner.

I am a proud individual.
