Well actually i thunk my whole family is brave. They are always around me ready to help. I think my family is brave because they are not scared to do anything and ready for everything. They are very helpful and kind. My family is very important to me!

in this activity we read  about 2 female pilots who ( I think) broke a record. the names of these pilots are Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart. For this activity we had to write some differences ans similarities   that they have here is my diagram:

for this activity we chose a charity that we write about what they do. The charity that I chose was SPCA. I chose SPCA because I love animals especially cats and kittens. What the SPCA charity does is they rescue animals and help them.

I would love to work with animals however I am too young!!

Today for the summer learning journey task we needed to talk about our culture and cultural background. so here I begin.

Most of my family comes from Syria, but some come from Jordan. I come from Syria only and we speak Arabic & English.

Welcome to the first activity of the summer learning journey. In this activity we read about the first person to find Aotearoa. Our task was to list 10 foods we would take with us if we went on a trip to navigate the world. We will not have a fridge or a freezer with us!!

Here are my 10 foods:

1.   bottles of water because it is very important
2. candy because it contains a lot of sugar and sugar gives you energy!
3. caned foods because they last long!
4. cookies and biscuits because you don't need a fridge for them
5. fruit and veges because they are healthy!!
6. homemade iced tea
7. sandwiches
8. homemade muffins because they would be ready.
9. homemade pizza  because it would be ready.
10. homemade brownies because they also contain sugar!
