Today for the summer learning journey task we needed to talk about our culture and cultural background. so here I begin.
Most of my family comes from Syria, but some come from Jordan. I come from Syria only and we speak Arabic & English.

Thank you for adding a picture of your cultural flag, I think that the flags of the countries we belong too are so important because they carry symbolism. Do you know the meaning of the Syrian flag? I really like that you mentioned that at home you speak Arabic, it is awesome that you and your family honour the language.
My family is Samoan, Maori and Tongan. I love that I am such a crazy mix and at home we mostly speak English but we would all love to learn more about each of our cultural languages.
I would really like to learn more about your culture,are there any special or important things to your family. Maybe the way you celebrate for example, Christmas which is right around the corner.
