Well the reason is 1 my friends sister's name is Sarah and she is so adorable!! and 2 because I like the name and it is very simple + easy for people to pronounce.
What would you change your name into?

Quick Rip Rugby!
Hello again bloggers,
Today was our last session for our rip rugby. We really enjoyed the lessons and had a lot of fun. We learnt a lot through out the term. the things we learnt were:
- passes
- scrums are when 6 people line up and kind of hug each other then someone throws the ball in the middle and the game keeps going.
- line outs - when the ball goes out and 5 people from each team line up to try and catch the ball
- no tackling / bumping off

genuis hour!
hello again bloggers,
In class for inquiry we picked a a global goal to try and solve. The global goal my group picked was good health and well-being. Our idea to try and solve that problem was to get some medicine and colour it in we put all our things inside a box with a red cross on it and send it to a doctor, to give them an idea of giving out free supplies for the poor families that need medicines and things to help them. here are the things we have made in our genius our times, but we are still working on them!!

our museum trip!
kio ra bloggers,
last week on Friday and Thursday our class was very lucky to go on a trip here is my writing about the museum I hope you enjoy it!
On Thursday 14 November and Friday 15 November 2019 Williams class was very lucky to have
a very exciting opportunity.
We went on a museum trip that was very fun. We got to experience many technology such as VR headsets (Virtual reality) , stop motion animation, green screen and many more!
The part I loved the most was everything but because I can only choose one it would be going
into the volcano gallery, because there was a room where you go in it and watch the news about
a volcano eruption that happened right here in Auckland. At the end of the show there was a
little window of a volcano erupting and while the volcano was erupting the room gets dark and
the floor starts shaking. Many people in my group got scared but then we got used to it.
The part that I was mostly successful with and that I improved on was coding with the robots.
They were very fun because you can make them talk and move. I had Dot he was very hilarious
by how his voice sounded and when he moved he stopped then moved and stopped.
Something that I went wrong with was also the robots when I kept bumping into things and the
robot went all over the place. It also bumped into the other robot dash.We coded the robots on an iPad.
I really loved going the Auckland museum and I hope we go again.
have you ever been to the museum??

RESPECT!
In Hay Park School we have one of our school values as respect, but what does respect mean here?? Well on Monday we had to pick a setting out of a little bucket and make a screencastify about it. We also had to choose a buddy that worked with us. My buddies name is Faisa and if you would like to check out the video that we did check it out below!
Today for our SODA (Start Of Day Activity) task we had to pick one thing that we wanted to focus on for the next few weeks, the thing that I chose was following instructions because I sometimes don't hear what my teacher has said or I don't listen to what she has said.
BYE I hope you enjoyed my blog post see you next time!

Just because I am a girl
Doesn't mean I have to love pink.
Doesn't mean I have to wear a dress
Doesn’t mean I have to have long hair.
I am unique.
I am unique.
Just because I wear a scarf
Doesn’t mean I look ugly
Doesn’t mean I look ugly
Doesn’t mean I am lonely
Doesn’t mean I am bad
I am an amazing girl
Just because I am a year 6
Doesn’t mean I am the smartest.
Doesn’t mean I know everything.
Doesn’t mean I am the fastest runner.
I am a proud individual.

Basketball Fun
Kiora bloggers,
Today was Williams classes second basketball lesson. In this lesson we learned different passes. the passes were called Over head, Shoulder ( right and left ), Chest pass and Bounce pass.
In this activity we were buddied up.The first pass we learnt was Chest pass and we had to do 30 of those. The next one is the bounce pass imagine there was a line and you have to bounce the ball on the other side of the line and your partner catches it. There was also a shoulder pass it's when you put both of your hands on one side of your shoulder and pass it to your buddy. The last pass witch was the hardest was over the head.
We all learned many new tricks with playing and had so much. In this lesson I learnt that if you are in a basketball game and you lift your foot at the back and refuee sees you do that he/ she will take the ball of you and give it to the other team.
My favourite activity in this lesson was the game "ball tag" I had so much fun playing it. But sadly the boys won with 6 people out. The girls only had 2 people out.

Basketball blast
Kiora bloggers,
Today was our first lesson with coach Jilal. Jilal taught us many basketball skills, we had so much fun! We firstly learned how to stance. A stance is when you pretend you are sitting on an imaginary chair and put our hands up in the air the coach said that that was our catching position. After that we learned how to dribble with both our right and left hands. We buddied up with a partner and shared a ball. When we dribbled we had to keep our head up to see what was going on. We then had to bounce the ball in a V shape. The coach taught us how to pivot. Pivoting is when you have the ball and you turn around with one leg glued or stuck to the floor. We ended the session with a fun game called golden child, bout we played it in a different way. The tam that was running needed to dribble a ball all the way around the courts and the other team was shooting the winning team was the shooting team
Here are some photos of me playing:
I hope you enjoy see you later!!

Genesis visit
G,day bloggers,
Yesterday our school was very happy and lucky to have Jenny and Jess from Genesis. They taught us all about energy and how our electricity works. Did you know that electricity uses energy ? Well we do actually use energy for our electricity. So what the ladies did first was that they talked all about energy and electricity . They also told us four natural ways of how they made electricity. The four ways are made out of water, gas, solar power panels - sun and last but not least is wind .Then at the end they picked two children to come up and do an experiment to see how much harder or easier it is to light 2 light bulb's one is the $9 d one the other is the $1 one but the 1 dollar one uses more energy witch is not very good. I hope you enjoyed ! here are some pictures of some children in our class trying the light machine :

Nothing Ever Happens
Nothing ever happens at my house.
It’s all so normal.
I’m doing the dishes
Dads mowing the lawn
Mums cooking dinner
Grandads reading the news
A monster is waiting for
Someone to come out and play
That’s three times this week
The cats purring
The dog is eating
Sam is feeling sick
